The World of Asian Fashion

Whether its Eid, Diwali, Holi, Lohri, a wedding, an anniversary or birthday party, there’s always an occasion that requires the perfect clothing; ‘that outfit’ that is sure to make you the Belle of the ball, however finding the outfit of your dreams is never quick and simple.

Here in the UK, we are renowned for our cultural diversity and wherever you go there’s always a store on hand selling you the latest styles of Salwaar Kameez, Sari’s, Lengha’s and so on, there’s a never ending choice out there but that doesn’t necessarily make the task easy. With so many stores out there with so much variety, shopping for an outfit is fast becoming a long, arduous struggle but never fear because we at Claim Today decided that its time for us to give back…to those of you in need of some fashion help.

Stratford Road; location ‘Princess B’ clothing store; offering a range of ‘modern’ and ‘funky’ suits for all ages and all occasions; from the exquisite, one of a kind pieces ideal for parties and weddings to flowing dresses and A-line suits for the younger girls.

What do you think will be the ‘IT’ trends to look out for in 2010?

It’s actually hard to say what will be the trends of 2010, purely because fashion is ever changing; there’s never one particular style that stays on top but I have noticed that the styles and fashions of yesteryear are definitely coming back. Take the Anarkali suit, it was an amazingly successful style 40 years ago but now, everywhere you go the 1970’s, whether its in music or even Western fashion is slowly making a comeback so that could be something to look out for but for ‘Princess B’ we mainly go with whatever is hot within the Bollywood industry.

Our Models have been trying on a lot of the top items in your store; where do you get these pieces from?

All my items here at the store are made in house; I have my own warehouse in Malaysia with a team of twenty to thirty designers and I work with them to create some up to date and truly unique pieces. Its always been my aim, to create one of a kind pieces but at the same time, provide more choice with great variety and that’s what I have always done.
