Food Clinic

Food Clinic There’s an old saying; ‘Your body is your temple, we couldn’t agree more. Treat your body right and it will no doubt return the favour however, neglect it and it can become the cause of severe problems; high blood pressure being one of them.

Over the years there has been an increased rise in the number of patients diagnosed with high blood pressure; one may argue that it has almost become a ‘common’ illness yet we assure you this is not something that should be taken so lightly.

Now, imagine your blood pumping from your heart around your body; a delicate process through intricate and delicate pipes known as your Arteries, now imagine the blood flowing faster, at an increased pressure than it should be; this is high blood pressure.

High blood pressure causes mass strain on your heart and blood vessels, in effect damaging them and thus inevitably increasing your chances of kidney disease, heart attack and even a stroke; it is indeed an extremely dangerous attack on the body.
