Magical Fruit
Eat your five a day; for the past few years this has fast become one of the most dominant messages being sent out by the governmental health department. The idea of incorporating five fruits and vegetables to our daily diet is frightening and has left many people suggesting that it is simply an unnecessary fad but we at ‘ddmag’ truly believe that eating your five a day is one of the best things you can do.
Ever since we can remember, fruits have always been a part of lives but unfortunately for many of us they haven’t been dominant but more along the lines of the snack we were forced to eat when we were younger or ate when we were bored; but did you know that fruits are by far the most powerful food group there is?
The range of fruits available to us all on a daily basis is so vast and it is often the ones that we take for granted which can have amazing effects on our health
1. Apples- There’s an old saying; ‘an apple a day keeps the doctor away’ well that actually could not be truer, the properties that an apple can possess is phenomenal.

Blood pressure-Apples have been proven to reduce the level of sodium within the blood, ideal for those suffering from high blood pressure

3. Banana’s- Another every day, popular fruit, Banana’s are naturally fat free and contain a range of vitamins and minerals
4. Grapefruit-Not one of the most popular out there but definitely one with great benefits particularly as the juice of a grapefruit can be a great treatment for the common cold
5. Watermelons- if consumed daily, watermelons can be great cleansers for the body
6. Berries- The majority of berries can be great for the blood
Ever since we have been kids, we have always been told by others, just how great fruit is for us and even now we are being pushed to eat our five a day and they couldn’t actually be more right. The range of fruits that are out there and available to all of us on a daily basis is amazing and the properties that they each obtain can literally change our health…so the next time you feel peckish, pick up a piece of fruit; you could no doubt be saving your own life!
