Asian Bachelor Search Birmingham 2010

The search for the UK’s most eligible bachelor came to Birmingham this month and Asiana certainly weren’t disappointed by the offerings of the UK’s second city.

Presenting a fine bunch of gorgeous, witty and intelligent men, our nominees certainly did the Midlands proud.

Hundreds of eligible suitors arrived at Birmingham’s Studio and Roof Gardens on May 1^st, hoping to be chosen for the national finals and to be crowned Asiana’s most eligible bachelor 2010.

The nationwide search started back in London in March, and in April the organisers searched Manchester for its finest talent. At the start of May Asiana stopped in Birmingham to review our home grown hotties, and the team will make their final stop in Leeds later this weekend.

Regional events have ensured the length and breadth of England will have been searched before the national finals in London on July 10.

The evening started with registration for the hopefuls. The midlands finest males filled in a questionnaire, detailing their best traits and then posed for a picture - to help the judges decide.

Female guests then got the chance to suggest who they thought should make the shortlist and the selection was made by both guests and the events team.

Each of the team at ddmag had their eye on a gentleman – (or two!) - and while us ladies certainly didn’t need an excuse to introduce ourselves, this article gave us the perfect reason to have a little chat with Birmingham’s best bachelors.

All in the name of serious journalism,  the ddmag team decided to help with the selection process, and knowing exactly the attributes we would like to see in the man crowned  Asiana’s most eligible bachelor, we wanted our votes to go to the most sophisticated and successful bachelors present.

A top 50 list will be compiled from nominations from across the nation before those chosen will appear at the London finals in July. Here the top five bachelors and the winner will be announced by a celebrity panel.

This isn’t just a modelling or beauty contest, it is about the overall package of the bachelors chosen.
